Ok so I may have mentioned that I'm on a student budget and don't have unlimited funds, but I seem to of temporarily forgotten this and done some online shopping... I recently discovered Beauty Joint and the incredibly low prices they have,including a flat shipping rate of around £4, and I couldn't resist. I've always wanted to try NYX makeup and when I saw they stocked them, as well as loads of other great brands (such as Milani, Limecrime, Wet n Wild and Jordana) I had to get my hands on some things.
The first things that I was probably most excited about are the NYX Butter Glosses. These on the Nyx website are £5, however from beauty joint they are only £2.90! I got mine in the shades 'Peach Cobbler', 'Apple Strudel' and 'Peaches and Cream'. I'm not going to lie I am a bit scared of wearing glosses as glossy as these, but I'll keep you updated on my progress!
Next is the Miracle Complexion Sponge from Real Techniques. I've wanted to try out the Beauty Blender for a while now and this I have heard is a great dupe for it, at a fraction of the cost (£5.99). So far I've loved using it and it really does give you a flawless finish, and I find it great for areas of my skin that are a bit dry, it completely smoothes foundation over these areas!
This next product comes from Milani, its a cult favourite, their baked blush in 'Luminoso'. I can see why, it's such a pretty shade with pretty high pigmentation, that is so easy to blend! From Beauty Joint it costs only £4.75, definitely a bargain! I think it goes great with M.A.C's lipstick 'Kinda Sexy'.
And finally comes another product from NYX, the Soft Matte Lip Cream in 'Tokyo'. More expensive than the Butter Gloss, these are £3.57 on Beauty Joint, but this is still such a low price for a great product. I have to say this colour didn't really suit me as it's super light pink and i'm super fair, but I'm sure on someone else it would look amazing, and the formula is really nice.
